I did it!!
 

It's taken me over a year to even consider getting this cushion cover finished because of my studies at University.... I am pleased to say that it is now sitting on the sofa ;)

It's my first proper finished piece as it has an incomplete quilt friend that's waiting to be backed and sewn.... that'll come another day.

Take an elective course in sewing and finish the other one. This is lovely, and it's very well done. Keep creating, especially during finals when stress is the name of the game.
