I finally made my bow tucks purse. I was so afraid to try this, but I said to myself..... "just jump in" and I made it happen .Thankyou to BKinco for her help on the outside pocket.,
I was stuck on this right away and put the pattern away for a while until someone (not sure who) asked the question about the pocket and BKinco answered it in a way everyone could understand... after that , I got going with it and I could not believe I actually finished it. Thank's again to everyone, this site is sew HELPFUL.

The Bow tucks was the first purse I made too, I love it!! The pocket got me a little stumped too, but I figured it out eventually. Glad some posted and that helped you out!! Your purse came out really good!! Do you plan on keeping it for yourself?

This purse is soooo easy, the directions are so clear. I never thought I’d be able to make it, but apart from the front pocket I had no trouble at all. You should give it a try at least!!!

I'm pretty sure I am the one that posted the question about the pocket on the front. My fabric is still on my sewing table and just glaring at me. I really have to steel up my nerve and get sewing!!

The pattern is called Center Stage put out by Pieced Tree Patterns. It's a little laminated card, around 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" with the pattern picture on one side and the directions on the other side. You can find them online or in your LQS.
