Well, if it were my DH shirts that went into that quilt, I would definitely keep it. My DH wears his newer shirts for good, then wears them to work and by then they are worthless. don't think it is ugly at all and I love your layout design. My vote is to keep and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.

The right quilting could really make that sing. I'm not good enough to offer any suggestions, but I bet you could find any number of experienced long-arm quilters on this forum who could do something wonderful with that top.

I don't think it's ugly at all.

If you really think that is "ugly" I will take it. I like it.

If husband liked the shirts - maybe he'd like the quilt for his very own. And I don't think its ugly.

Quilt it up! Use it or donate it..has potential!

You did a really nice job of neatly cutting all those checks! Maybe the brown sashing might have been the problem. I wonder how it might have looked with black?

Fun quilt.. You can look and remember where each piece of clothing came from.. laughing at the idea : guest room so they will not stay long.. lol.. that is funny ! congratulations of your "new" quilt !

That's so funny! I love it, and the colors are great. And it's NOT ugly.

I think the person who suggested dye had a good idea.
Great project, but it does make me dizzy!
