I donated my hair to wigs for kids. They give wigs to kids for free.

You look amazing. I was growing my hair out for a wig for my aunt with lung cancer. She lost her battle in May and I am still in the process for locks of love. I figure next year at this time I can post my before and after pictures. Awesome cause!!

Sorry to hear that sad news. You should give it to wigs for kids...they don't charge the families for the wigs, they are free to the children. Locks for love charges the family for the wigs.

My son and I have both donated hair for wigs. This is a good program. Your new hair style looks great!

That's a wonderful thing you did. My son (no momma doesn't really like his long hair, but he does keep it back on a ponytail)donates his hair to Locks Of Love in honor of a classmate of his that died from cancer 12 years ago, when they were in high school. Momma likes that he does it for a cause. And to all the others that donate...WAY TO GO!!!

Neat new look for you, it's nice. My 9 year old granddaughter just donated to Locks for Love, 10 inches. She was so proud to do that. I didn't know they charged for the wigs though, thought they were free.

I have been doing this also for the past 8 yrs. Ussually every 2 yrs for at least 12" of hair. I go to the beauty college here and get a free hair cut while the hair is donated to wigs for kids.
It is really a great cause. Thanks for sharing. |
