Thank you all. This will be my last quilt for about 2 1/2 months. I'm having total hip replacement on April 6.

What a beautiful quilt!

Are the corners appliques?
|
Stunning quilt! Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery with your surgery! If you go thru withdrawals from quilting, maybe when you are feeling up to it, try English Paper Piecing-it is all done by hand, and very satisfying. No tools/machines needed except snips, needle, and thread. Would HATE to have you totally miss out!

Wonderful work and wish you a speedy recovery.

Vanuatu Jill, that sounds really interesting. I will definitely look it up. Murphy, you can do anything you put your mind to. I've only been sewing for 2 1/2 years now.
Thank you all for your well wishes with my surgery. I'm a little scared about it but I'm looking forward to it also. I am hoping that this will help with at least some of the pain I am in everyday. While I'm recovering, I am going to pick up making my ornaments using the Delica beads and the Peyote stitch. I also have a loom that I will be making hat bands and such. |
It is absolutely lovely! Was it difficult? I'd like to try celtic soon.
|
Excellent!
|
It looks amazing! Nice job.
|
