That's the quilt shop that I buy my fabric from. I don't have room big enough to take pics of this. Plus, the own likes to get pics of her "students" work.

Tsanchez 03-09-2011 03:33 PM

Are the corners appliques?

Vanuatu Jill 03-09-2011 04:02 PM

Stunning quilt! Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery with your surgery! If you go thru withdrawals from quilting, maybe when you are feeling up to it, try English Paper Piecing-it is all done by hand, and very satisfying. No tools/machines needed except snips, needle, and thread. Would HATE to have you totally miss out!

Charming 03-09-2011 04:03 PM

Wonderful work and wish you a speedy recovery.

Vanuatu Jill, that sounds really interesting. I will definitely look it up. Murphy, you can do anything you put your mind to. I've only been sewing for 2 1/2 years now.

Thank you all for your well wishes with my surgery. I'm a little scared about it but I'm looking forward to it also. I am hoping that this will help with at least some of the pain I am in everyday.

While I'm recovering, I am going to pick up making my ornaments using the Delica beads and the Peyote stitch. I also have a loom that I will be making hat bands and such.

sjscribe 03-09-2011 08:21 PM
