I've missed so much here on this site. I tried to touch base every now and then. Anyway, I finally got my granddaughter's quilt finished at about 3 months of trying to get to it. I have 3 more projects that I need to and then I need to make Christmas gifts. I should have started in January.
This is a disappearing 9 patch, cotton fabric and backing, warm & white batting with an extra layer of high loft polyester. I used So Fine thread on top and Bottom Line in the bobbin. Hope you like. Hope she likes it too. Quilt top with Randi's name showing [ATTACH=CONFIG]51162[/ATTACH] Label. I hate making labels [ATTACH=CONFIG]51169[/ATTACH] She wanted the stars a loops quilting design but I just had to do something else with the border. She's not a foofy girl so feathers were out. beatiful quilt. was wondering if extra poly batting is for warmth or for puffy hearts? looks very comfy and cuddly.

The blue is so lovely and soft! I love you you did her name, and the border with the hearts is beautiful! She's a lucky little girl to have a grandma with your talents--I'll bet she can plan on being the recipient of many gorgeous quilts in the future!

Very nice! Love all the quilting, and I was glad you said it was a bit stiff until it gets some launderings. I always wondered about that with the close machine quilting.
