Janeen- they can't do anything until these boxes get off my kitchen table... I am making a trip to the post office tomorrow and then they can start sewing... :);)

Izy- I think that you are definitely correct on the butterflies. Ah,, the good life... summer is almost here :):)

Janeeen.....It's killing me not being able to share them out yet...BUT it makes sense to wait until most of the fabric donations have been received, then it means I can select coordinating fabrics which I am hoping all the members will then be able to do a project from mainly those fabrics....that way I get to take lots of pictures to show you all ....eventually lol!!!!!

Izy, I know what you mean by patience! As a kid - don't tell my nieces and nephews! - I learned to peel the tape off wrapping paper to see what the presents were under the tree! And not just mine! I never told anyone what they got. Here I was trying to sound "pious", but I guess anyone would think I didn't tell because I didn't want to get caught.

Oh Celeste...I used to do the same...my excuse is that as a child, my parents never wrapped the few presents we got...(There was six of us) we just had little piles lined along the piano, and sometimes there would be a bike or train set on the floor.. So when I was given parcels and after I had my kids, when friends and family brought xmas pressies around, I used to peep in them all too :roll: BUT I can leave them now tee hee!!

There's a few on here that deserve medals for their random acts of kindness. They know who they are!!

I'm a bit confused cuz none of the postcard swaps there really say they are for quilted or fabric postcards, they sound like they could be regular paper postcards.
