OH! Please!!! Post a Picture!!! I'd love to see everybodys stars and see what colors they used, etc. I'll be watching for it.

That is a great idea! I was thinking that it'd make a cute quilt using the baby blocks, but it'd be a lot faster mixing it with mommy blocks. I think I might just have to try that.

It's funny because I not only love quilting, I absolutely love material! I can't throw any little pieces away. I have a box with little scraps. I never knew what I'd do with them but that's what I used to make this baby block.

Thanks for the great idea!

You can search my name and see all the posts I have done showing what I make with them. The most recent one is on Keychains I am making now.

I use them to make hotpads checkbook covers whatever. I have a bunch of tutorials you can use them in. Here are my links for the tutorials. I originally offered the templates to go with the EBooks I have out but you can use them any way you want!

The 1 1/2" is the one I use the most for everything. It was offered to allow people to try miniatures when I released my Boston Block Ebook. It is a shortcut I call the cut down method. You sew swatches together and then cut out a block from the center. You can see this method on my free teaching website Bits n Pieces Workshop. The link is below. Then I released my book Dresden Kaleidoscope book and that is the thin plastic blade template.
Then the Star Point block Ebook called for a new template so I offered the 1 1/4" template just so people could try the smaller size if they wanted to.
The 4Th book is my Bed Quilts Blocks and Borders which is on my Wings Block so it uses the 3" clear acrylic with the line scored and the 2 1/2" template so people could make a 12 1/2" quilt block with the wings blocks if they wanted to.

so If you have any questions just ask and I will be happy to help!

Thank you so much Rhonda! I used the 1 1/2". I started to make the Carpenter's Star then decided I didn't have enough little scraps for that but I did for the JL. I think a baby CS would be awesome!!! :P I've checked out your keychains. They're really nice. I just didn't put 2 and 2 together. I was going to PM you and ask if there were patterns. Thank you so much for posting all of your GREAT information on here for everyone to find. When I got the templates, on the 3" acrylic "scored" template, I though that was just a scratch!!! Thanks for clarifying!!! I plan to watch all of your tutorials for ideas, guidance, inspiration, and tips. Thanks again for the templates and the post!

I don't want to be pushy but I thought I would post them again as you wondered what to do with the templates.

I am going to be doing some more tutorials on the board when I have time.

Thanks Danmar! I appreciate your showing what you did with the templates!! Now I am looking forward to more pics!!! LOL

Actually there is one more Newsletter that I don't have on the list. It was about all the things you can make in miniature. I will have to ask Konstantin if he has the link, I am not sure where mine is. That article might be of use to you. I will see if I can get it.

Thank you very much Rhonda! I'd appreciate it. Don't you think a baby Carpenter's Star would be just awesome?!? Have you made things with those kind of seams with the minis? I'm just full of ideas now.

LOL I have to admit I have to look up what a Carpenter's star looks like! I get in a rut sometimes and use the same designs alot !! If it is the one I am thinking of I am sure it works just fine!

I sent Admin (Konstantin) a pm asking for his pdf file of it so hopefully he is better organized than I am and has the file.
