I just finished a quilt top made with very silly cat fabric...
 

I found this great but silly cat fabric at a LQS that was going out of business (:(). The fabric is so busy that I struggled trying to figure out how to make it not hurt my eyes. I think this works for that. I am not sure if it is a real pattern. I just cut 6 1/2 inch squares of the focus fabric and then cut 2 1/2 inch strips of two different fabrics to put around the focus fabric.

I am attaching two pictures. One is of the overall quilt and the other is a close up of the silly cat fabric. It is kind of a fun quilt, and it was certainly easy to make.

I tried to get Hot Rod out of the picture, but he was pretty settled on my chair, and my sewing room isn't large enough to put the chair out of the way AND back up to get a picture. :) In fact, I figured out that the king sized quilt I just made is larger than this room! Doesn't matter, this room is just right for my quilt inspector and me to make quilts. :)

I love cats and your quilt just put a big smile on my face. I think Hot Rod is thinking he's going to get off that little purple one on the chair and get the big one you just made. We have a cat quilt on top of our comforter to keep Tiger's hair off of it. Well that idea didn't work. He somehow manages to get under his quilt and takes a big nap everyday on the comforter all snuggly under his quilt.
