I though this was a quilting site - all aspects. Wow! You do wonderful freehand work!! I wish you were closer, I have a lot of quilts to quilt. I like when the quilter quilts with the piecing in mind that compliments the quilt top, turns out beautiful!

Have you had lessons? Where do you go to get them? What machine/frame set up do you have? What made you decide on this particular setup? Just wondering- I someday (sighing wistfully) would love to have a longarm- just for myself, not as a business. I have a Gammill Classic + (I never ever thought I'd ever own a longarm......goes to show you, you never know for sure) I looked online for about 4 years and only got 2 Demo DVDs from different brands. DH didn't know I would have settled for something less expensive. I recently tried a Tin Lizzy and seemed great to me. I got it for a hobby (saved my sanity) but I do some requests. |

It is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to do that but quilting is part of the process that I just can't seem to get the hang of and I love making the top. One of these days I will just have to make myself learn how.
