i love making stuffies!
 

and here are my latest ones! most of these are my kids' but the row of scotty dogs on the back of the couch are getting put away for next falls craft sale. i have yet to add noses to them but they will look like the others when done. the kitties are my 3yo's. he just loves them and takes at least one with him everywhere he goes. the aliens are my own creation as the kids wanted aliens. (: the doll is made from a drawing my daughter gave me and the two sitting up type dogs are copied from her 'lovey'. you can see where she is holding them, one is the original she's had for years, one is the copy. i have been sewing for less than 2 years.

Wonderful. I have never had the patience for stuffed animals and dolls.

thanks for all the wonderful comments. i am not sure how much i am going to sell them for. my grandmother runs the sale so i will have to ask her what she thinks they will go for. the scotties are made or real tartans for the most part too.

OH, they are soooo adorable, I am in love with the froggy in the chair. You have talent and a good imagination with the aliens.

I love the doll. I had my son draw a picture for a puppet once. He wanted a turtle and he was real pleased with the results.

the scottie dog and cat pattern came together. i changed them a bit but they are McCalls Pattern 4893 which i got off e-bay. the frog pattern was just drawn on paper, i got it at a yardsale. it was really old, some of the other patterns were from the 20's and 30's. i only got the frog one because i didn't realize at the time that those might come in handy.

Don't know what I like best, that big ol' frog, or the Afghan Wolfhounds, at least that is what I think they are, aside from being just fantastic. Thanks for showing all your hard work. I can't imagine piecing and stuffing all those critters.
