Those are beautiful. I've got to get that pattern.

toverly 05-06-2017 06:20 AM

Terrific table runners, you did a great job. It's a wonderful pattern. It's so much fun to make smaller projects. I'm hooked on Mondo bags right now.

juliea9967 05-06-2017 06:31 AM

Yes - you need to get the pattern Barb in Louisiana. They really are fun to make. A little fussy, but fun.
Yes Toverly. It is nice to make smaller projects in between the bigger quilts. It sort of gets your juices moving, and the quick gratification is good for all of us.

QuiltnNan 05-06-2017 06:48 AM

nicely done... love that pattern

QM 05-06-2017 07:04 AM

Both are sew pretty!

MarionsQuilts 05-06-2017 07:26 AM

The pattern is super easy! They are 60 degree triangles .. Just cut and join! And place however you want!

Have fun! I have made those too, super easy and lots of fun!

nativetexan 05-06-2017 08:27 AM

LOVELY!!! Now where did I put my pattern? I found some great fabric in my stash and want to make another one.

osewme 05-06-2017 09:16 AM

Thanks for all your kind comments. I just finished another one and this really turned out striking, I think. Probably because of the red and black. The fabric is Flora, designed by Chong-A Hwang (one of my favorite fabric designers) for Timeless Treasures Fabrics. The blue one in the first picture was designed by Chong-A Hwang, too. It sold immediately after I put it in my store.

Where do you find the fabrics for these? We don't have much to choose from in our town! I think yours is beautiful and I would like to try some. Dee

willferg 05-07-2017 06:37 AM

They do look super cool!

juliea9967 05-07-2017 06:47 AM

Hi Dee,
I live in a small town, and there is not much here to choose from either. The closest quilt shop is an 80 mile round trip, and I have found quilting fabric that I like there, but no border prints. Some shops just don't carry them. Most of my border prints I have bought on-line. I do a search for border print fabrics and stripe fabrics. I would say that almost all of my border prints have been bought on-line.
Hope this helps you. These table runners really are fun to make, and I like how they turn out.
Julie

Thanks Julie....guess I know what I will be doing later. There is drag racing on so I can use the computer! Dee

juliea9967 05-07-2017 07:27 AM

Have fun Dee. I subscribe to the mailing list for a lot of on-line fabric shops, so I find a lot of the border prints that way, too. You will enjoy making these. One of the things I found out is it is a lot easier to put the triangles together and press the seams open instead of pressing to one side or the other. Otherwise you get some real bulky seams.

Oh so pretty! Love the fabrics

sewnclog 05-07-2017 09:25 AM

I made several of these; no pattern just a picture and the 60 degree ruler. I think they are addictive or can be.

RedGarnet222 05-07-2017 09:50 AM

Those are two of the most pretty runners I have ever seen. How fun.

pewa88 05-07-2017 12:14 PM

Beautiful table runners. Which pattern do you use?

ccthomas 05-07-2017 02:23 PM

Nice table runners.

busy fingers 05-07-2017 11:01 PM

Very pretty.

juliea9967 05-08-2017 05:13 AM

The pattern is called Triangle Frenzy Table Runner. I think there are 3 different patterns called Triangle Frenzy, but the one I made is called Table Runner.
