O My Gosh!! Look at all that fabric! You could sew night and day for a LONG time and not make a dent in it!

LovinMySoldier 03-26-2010 11:49 AM

So that's like 18 cents a yard :) And that doesn't take into account the floor frame

skpkatydid 03-26-2010 11:49 AM

I paid a total of $ 160 for all the fabric and a brand new Dritz floor stand. The pictures show only part of it I still have four 30 gal bags to open :-)....I am taking a brake right now and enjoying the view..

Wow, that is a lucky find! Did she have any other quilting stuff or know of someone that is going to have a yard sale so you can be first in line.

Maride 03-26-2010 12:11 PM

I may fly to Texas overnight and help you sort it. I will have very loose fitting clothing and may "gain" some weight by the time we are done. I don't know, I see some pieces there... Congratulations on your find.

Isn't there a saying that things are bigger and better in Texas?? I guess they are right!! What a find!! Wish they had sales like that around here. Guess I will have to visit Texas after all. I will just avoid my psychotic relatives.

Sunny Days 03-26-2010 12:12 PM

From what I understood, that was only a small part of all the fabric the Lady had

Sugarpumpkin 03-26-2010 01:35 PM

Did she have a house just for her fabric? LOL

quiltsRfun 03-26-2010 02:00 PM

That's a bargain that you just couldn't pass up. What fun to sort through all the fabric and see what you have. Bet you could easily make back what you spent by selling what you don't think you'll use. Hope you have a big storage area.

sylvia77 03-26-2010 02:11 PM

I wish I could be as lucky as you, enjoy all that beautiful fabric!
