I agree with Ruth. I'd just make a label and hand-stitch it on the back!

I'd go for a label too, do the embroidery on a matching piece of fabric, then applique it on. I hate getting to the end of something like that and realising you've missed a bit!

I think that is what I'll do is embroider a label and whip stitch it on.
