I must have a problem
3 Attachment(s)
I got the blocks put together for a queen sized top.All I kept doing was looking at the leftover scraps from them.Should I put the blocks together or play with the scraps.Well I played with the scraps,lol.1st pic is of the blocks still waiting, lol. The left overs made a baby sized top.
Nope , I don't see a problem- Sometimes girls just wanna have fun ! LOL
By the way cute quilt and can't wait to see the blocks together :) |
Well, you sure put those scrapes to good use.
Nice. What fabric line is that?
That is the cutest thing!!!
I find that the suspense of the unknown and the intregue when working with scraps is the best part. So I don't think you have a problem at all . If you do... we both need help. FYI its beautiful, love the colors
When fabric talks to you, you just gotta listen! Great job on the darling baby quilt!
I would say you are very frugally creative, using up scraps and saving storage!!! Great job and an inspiration to me.
The scraps are so pretty, who could resist?
Great job on the use of left-overs!!
I really like that baby blanket......
Very pretty baby quilt. I am going to start using my scraps as soon as I get enough to work with. I have made 4 quilt out of scraps I had saved up, working on one now and will have enough for another quilt. Good for you to use them now.
You do wonderful work, pretty colors. |
I'd rather scrap than do something structured...is it a character flaw or a creative calling!!??
That turned out so pretty, scraps can be so much fun.
Great use of scraps!! I find that when I do a scrap project my scraps multiply signifincantly.
Sweet baby size and lovely fabrics.
I LOVE the baby quilt . . . and can't wait, to see the mama quilt!!!

Who could help but play with these scraps, they are sew cute, as is the baby quilt. Can't wait for the bigone. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, I can understand the temptation to see what can be done with scraps and you did a fantastic job of creating something wonderful from yours. It is precious and I can hardly wait to see the large quilt. Great job!
Really like your baby quilt and it does not look like scraps!
thanks you every one for the kind words.to me anything that does not fit the sizes I am working with is a scrap, lol.
What a fun quilt, what's the problem??????????
I agree with many here ... I don't see any problems. ... love the colorful nature of both quilts! and looking forward to the big quilt.
You are just a true quilter...too many things to do and too little time. We can't help but get detoured.
That is the kind of problem which is fun to have. I am holding my breath for the large version.

I think after all the hard work assembling the blocks, you deserved a little "play" time! The scraps made a great "little" quilt! Thanks for sharing.
Very pretty! Also, I could have cryed that I missed your last fabric sale....BOO HOO!
Waste not, want not.. I hate not using scraps.. I just about use all, unless I don't like the quality, and then I use that fabricfor practice..

To paraphrase a rapper (The Notorious B.I.G. maybe?) ---> mo' fabric, mo' problems... LOL! But these are the kind of problems I like!
Those scraps are very pretty! Very soft looking quilt.
:D :D :D Lovely little quilt!! All perfectly normal. That's how we have UFOs! Start on one and diversify!! Love your fabric choices! Best wishes.
