This is a really wonderful quilt. I think I might call it Autumn Glow. But the name is really unimportant. Your choice of fabrics is certainly not what I would have selcted for this, but it works stunningly. Good for you.

Thanks for all of the kind words and name suggestions. I still can't make up my mind on what to name it. I'm leaning toward "Radiant Annapolis."
"Even thorns have roses" is what it reminded me of. Beautiful quilt.
Your quilt is awesome. I love it.
My first thought was from the carol we tgree kings. Star of wonder
How about "Crystal Triumph"?
I don't know but it is beautiful
Beautiful. The colors make it glow, so perhaps Glowing Star or something along those lines.
WOW - Just beautiful, great job, thank you for sharing. "A Light in the Darkness"
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
I can't come up with a super special name, but I want to tell you how Beautiful your Feathered Star piece is!! :D I love everything about it, the pattern, the color's, the design work that you have added to it & the quilting that you had done. Do treausre this piece of art forever!!
:D :D :D :D |
summers end brings falls flame.
Not a great namer but I love the quilt! |
I really like this one very pretty!
Professionally:
Just call it "Radiance"
What is the center flower? Hibiscus? I would call it Radiant (whtever the flower is.) It is simply georgeous
"Worth the wait"!!
Beautiful! I would take 2 years to finish one like this.
I'd name it Home Again!! beautiful.
Very beautiful quilt-I'm not good at naming quilts either-I don't usually name mine. You will come up with a name yourself-just keep looking at it & thinking outside the box!
The design reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.
This is absolutely awesome!
First thought, Autum Snowflake
I would just namenit "yummy". Love the colors.
This is such a pretty quilt, I like the way you centered the flower in the middle.
I'm with pattypurple, Oh My Gosh! That has to be one of the most beautiful quilts I've ever seen. You have done one amazing job and created a fabric masterpiece. Amazing Star is what I'd call it.
Gorgeous Star!!
How about Sunset Star for a name?
How about "Fire and Ice?"
Jory |
How about " Ohio Star at Sunset"? I am from Ohio originally and this quilt is fab. Just a suggestion.
oh my!! This is great, the first thing that came to me was "snowflake". Then second was "throwing star"
no idea for a name but the feathered star is my favorite block. It is very pretty
Fire and Ice sounds good to me.

Pretty quilt!
p.s. The pattern for the feathered star is in Marsha McCloskey's Feathered Star Quilt Blocks I book. I designed the borders.[/QUOTE]
I love it. How about "Flower in My Star" |
Love the colors, great job!
I'm thinking "Winter Rose", because the eye is drawn to the center flower and the feathered star reminds me of a snowflake. The white around it looks like snow. It's a beautiful quilt and the quilting is very pretty, but that's much too long to "wonder what I should do"!! The only quilt I've ever taken a long time to do was when I had surgery in the middle of it and my Dad died. The customer, fortunately, wasn't in a hurry and I let her know. It was a queen size with a lot of detail.

beautiful quilt
