I like the white background better. Those colors are so pretty.
I think the white background with burgundy sashing with a black corner stone would look good. But whatever you do I'm sure it will look great because I like your color choices.
use the white and the burgundy backgrounds. they look wonderful on both!!!
I love white on white.

I have a tendency to avoid white in my backgrounds. It just seems cold to me. But you've had lots of good suggestions. Just try some of the combinations suggested--but remember, there's no quilt police and it's all a matter of personal taste.
I know there was some discussion of binding--one of my "signature" habits is piecing my binding from different fabrics I've used in the quilt. It might take a bit of time to sew the pieces together, but I think it makes for a more interesting time as you sew the binding on ("all done with the green part, now on to the burgundy!). |
I think it would be great to alternate the burgandy and white blocks.
I also like the white background better. Maybe you could use your burgendy for the sashing. Green would be another option for sashing. Very Lovely.
IMHO, the burgundy makes it look richer.
I like the white.
I think the white makes the garden pop and black sashing with be the icing on the cake.
