Something else I thought about is the batting. I did a courhouse steps for hubby last yr with flannel on both sides and an 80/20 batting. He loves it, but it is very, very heavy. Probably should have used cotton on the back, b/c it is so heavy now that it is done. Just my opinion as far as the one I did is concerned but something to think about.

I would first vote for 3 then 2..........reason 1 looks like a snowball block and you did too much work in sewing the blocks together to make a quilt that can be sewn so easily.

#1 or #3 depending on how you plan to quilt it. #1 give a nice area for a quilted motif.
All would work, you just need to pick your favorite. |

As a Long Arm Quilter I think #1. From the quilting prospective it has alot of wonderful open quilting space to do some really pretty motifs.
