Pretty fabric choices, looks nice to my eyes :XD:

4EVERquilt 04-10-2011 08:16 AM

Nice!!

tebill 04-10-2011 08:16 AM

I love your bright fabrics - very pretty bag! Well done!

Crafty Darlene 04-10-2011 08:51 AM

Love the colors and don't see a thing wrong! I bought the pattern and don't have the courage to try it yet, but soon hopefully!

dphelps 04-10-2011 09:21 AM

I think your bag is cute and I don't see anything wrong with it either. One question...did you put a bottom piece(rectangular) inside the bottom? That might make it seem "boxier".

Yooper32 04-10-2011 10:04 AM

Here's another "can't see it". If you goofed, you should be very quiet about it 'cause none of us can tell where.

moonwork42029 04-10-2011 10:16 AM

If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have thought you changed it on purpose. New twist and looks great to me....I might have to "steal" this idea on a couple smaller ones.

quiltingnana1 04-10-2011 11:44 AM

Looks good to me. I don't see what you did wrong. Like it!

I wonder 04-10-2011 12:11 PM

I am not sure where the mistake is, it's adorable!

Ziva 04-10-2011 12:19 PM

Pretty to me!

AnnT 04-10-2011 12:29 PM

Love the bag...can't tell you "messed up"...it looks
good to me!

janell2009 04-10-2011 12:32 PM

I see what you mean.. but no one, but you, will know.. because it is now your original... And very cute to, I must say...

debcavan 04-10-2011 12:43 PM

If it is together and usable, you did well. WE don't have to use the same methods. Done is best.

Actually, it would probably work great on a small bag!

Second attempt!

My quilt inspector inspecting the fusible. She only looks innocent!

Not sure of your mistake either, cause I see a nice looking bag!

Jan T 04-10-2011 01:56 PM

So what? So it is a little bit round instead of rectangular. It is a darling bag. I'll be proud to carry it if you want to send it on over.

So disappointing.

I see nothing wrong with this bag at all. Its really nice!

LoriEl 04-10-2011 02:54 PM

:D Thanks!

twixbar 04-10-2011 02:56 PM

Very pretty.

Stitchit123 04-10-2011 03:57 PM

I don't see anything wrong but I read this a lot and I 've only caught a couple boo-boos I get to thinking I need my eyes checked I think your bag is adorable it makes me believe warm weather may stick around

Lucymae 04-10-2011 04:00 PM

Can't see the mistake....lovely bag

Rock Lady 04-10-2011 04:22 PM

If you made a mistake, only you know where it is. Don't tell anyone and they won't know the difference and will just think that was a part of the pattern. As for me, I think it looks great.

#1piecemaker 04-10-2011 04:39 PM

I think it's cute. At least you had enough nerve to try making one. I haven't gotten up the nerve yet. I'd love to make one but I guess I'm a visual learner and not good with written directions. Anyway, GOD JOB!!!

Bonnie P 04-10-2011 05:46 PM

I think it is beautiful.

cr12cats 04-10-2011 06:52 PM

it is really cute you can err like that again and difinetly get away with it.

Sistergoldenhair 04-10-2011 06:55 PM

I don't see anything wrong with it. I like it. Looks real nice!

RDM 04-10-2011 06:55 PM

Actually quite cute in those happy fabrics, it's a keeper.

A lot of expensive bags deliberately have boxed sideways corners! The rounded inside corners make it easier to find things like keys too! J

noreeli 04-11-2011 09:16 AM

That is a gorgeous bag!!

Ok, so what does "boxed it sideways" mean, I want to learn how to do that now.

It's kind of hard to explain, for me anyway, but I'll try. Okay-you have the front and back right sides together (sides and bottom sewed together) and depending on the size of the bag, you mark say two inches in from bottom corner and two up. Make a diagonal line and stitch on the line and cut away the corner. What I was supposed to do for the "boxy" look was open those corners, match the side seam with the bottom seam and sew diagonally. I hope you understand.

Jammin' Jane 04-11-2011 08:46 PM

I like it just the way it is!!!!
