Wow! It looks like my Grandma's machine that I learned to sew on, with the treadle until my dad put a motor on it. Great Hubby! I just showd it to my DH; maybe he will take the hint hehe.

Still dreamin' to own an antique treadle machine! Yours is gorgeous :shock: Living here in Alaska it is difficult to find affordable antiques and shipping is crazy $$$

That is beautiful, reminds me of the one my grandmother had. When she passed away grandpa started to make quilt tops to ease his arthritis. But it wasn't fast enough for him, so he hooked up a mixer motor to it and made it electric. He was so proud of how fast it was. He made 65 tops before he passed. Thought you might get a kick out of this story.
