Just goes to show what you can learn from this board ---- this is my first "Rag Quilt" and I love how easy it was to put it all together. My DH said it was funky looking when he saw it before it was clipped and washed. I assured him to just wait and see. Now he agrees it is cute!!! I haven't a clue how much fabric it look 'cause it was from scraps left over from grandbabies christmas jammies!! Now I'll have to do the math so I can make more.

It is made out of two layers of flannel. Started out with 6" squares; sewed an "X" with two squares WRONG sides together and took a 1/2" seam between blocks and rows. I didn't lay my seams open except around the edge and just butted them up like normal quilting.

Made a flannel raggity quilt for my sister.. Loved that quilt so much I had to make one for me! Can't beat flannel for making you feel warm and comfy. The frogs are so cute.. mine is just plain pink and white... YOURS is so cute! I wish I'd have thought of jammies to go with the quilt.. How fun is that? Great job.. thanks for sharing.
