Your blocks a terrific, K! My favorite is the Ducky, though...... You're inspiring me to get going on mine, but I had projects halfway done and I just have got to finish them. Keep them coming. In fact, you could paper piece my landscape design and we could pretend I did it!
|
 Ducky
|
Looks great. The blocks are adorable.
|
Thank you everyone! Have been googling around for more patterns and I found this http://thimble-art.com/wp-content/up...ip-pattern.pdf

K, those are too cute. Where can I find the doggie & kitty patterns? All of the PDA folks are so nice, you included. I love to spend time on there. Rhonda is a dear & all the ducks, etc. Gotta run.

He really is something to crow about, too! |

You did a great job!! I am hooked on paper piecing .... in fact I now prefer that to regular patchwork. I have a quilting friend who lives nearby and we are always getting together to compare notes and patterns.

These are lovely and the lucky child (for several generations)
who gets this will love it forever. I do hate to rain on your parade, but as a mother, I would strongly suggest this be a wall hanging, or else remove the buttons and embroidery some animal eyes in place of the buttons. Or ARE they already embroideried on and made to look like buttons? |
Those are darling.
|
These are really, really cute!
|
Great job!

Excellent! What a great job for your first adventure in pp. I just love paper piecing! Soon you will be looking at every block you see to imagine how it could be done the pp way! :D
|
is your dog jealous?
|
You've made a Delightful Duck and Perky Puppy. Is the beak on the Duck 3-D? Ir looks like it. Or is it a Prairie Point?
|
Great job K! I think you are on a roll!!

I did take a lesson and still was not interested in doing much more.until a friend introduced me to the add an 1/8" and the add a 1/4" rullers. It made the cutting and fitting in place so very much easier.
I would never had tried the following if it weren't for these two rulers. MJ in NJ |
couldn't get the picture on the board...will have to wait for the grandkids to come and show me how to do it....LOLOLOLOL
