Im back again-Dble wedding ring all hand quilted
 

I just finished hand quilting my Dble wedding ring tonight.. To some of you hand quilter's. I used a quilting/between size 11 needle. I had a lady friend introduce these needles, to me. And I'm hooked with that size. In the beginning of my 1st hand quilting projects, I think I used a 8 or 9. I do have another quilt ready to start hand quilting. Awesome job. Love the center motifs, did you make the design? When I used 9 and 10 needles, I bent them way too much. I usually finished quilting with a bent needle. Once I started using JohnJames size 11, they lasted without bending, through several quilts unless they get dull. I love them.

Don, you are a talented man! Your stitches are so good. I use a 9 needle. I get them at Hancock's. They are pretty stout and don't bend like most needles. I might try the 11s. I just don't like a very long needle.Great job!!

Do you have trouble threading the smaller needles? I ordered some No. 12 and I could not get them threaded at all.

Beautiful, would love to do this too but smaller, as I probably never get it done. Ok, got a good idea, I will purchase the fabric and all the rest and you do it and mail it to me. I know that will not happen but it is worth a try.
