OR the Sewing room LOL! I'm going to show you My Quilt/Sewing space's. I have 3 only because my house is very old 1932 and very little rooms. One is for the cutting table/ironing/fabric in all the pocible places I can find!!LOL. My hall thats only about 48inchs wide but has the window I love, I sew there. The other room has my quilt frame and twin bed for the gran kids. My quilt frames torn down, I'm lowering it. And before you get the idea it looks this clean All the time just forget IT!!!! No Way!!!

What a pretty sewing space you have. I'm sure it feels like "your world". Your refuge. The windows make it look very cheerful.

Dianemarie 11-22-2011 05:52 PM

The area where your sewing machine is the cute FW is like my Grandmother had; just a little space that was her own. No one was really allowed in there; cause there was no room. But I would sneek in just to snoop on her sewing machine to see what she was making. I know pocess her summer quilts. Two cotton fabrics not batting. Coming apart but I just love them.

thank you Pat, even if they didn't come though right don't know what happened it cut off 1/2 of the pic and lost one of them.

What a great sewing space. Very nice

Like all your rooms and the yellow. I see that you have some model planes hang from one of the rooms. My husband hobby is building model planes. He has them hanging from his room and in the garage. I bet we are the only people that have planes hanging in the garage.

xsquilter 11-22-2011 05:58 PM

Oh my gosh, what neat spaces! And how I loved seeing your furniture pieces & decor. I bet I would love that rod iron bed I see peeking out in the third picture! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you "came out"! Love your spaces....less of chance to be bored with just one space, LOL. Very cool. Thank you for sharing and WELCOME from Arizona.

Ditto to the one above. My hubby's model plane is still being put together in our garage.

BETTY62 11-22-2011 06:21 PM

Your quilting space is very nice and oh so clean. I love how you have your sewing machine set up in front of the window. Someday I hope to have a sewing space I don't have to share.

gypsylady5 11-22-2011 06:24 PM

Really super use of small spaces. Love the windows and what you have done with your room. Enjoy sewing for hours there!

LindaM 11-22-2011 06:24 PM

You can't be bored with being in one room all the time. You've got everything so handy. It's great.

MaryAnnMc 11-22-2011 07:59 PM

It looks like you're making good use of all your spaces! I love your mosaic of rulers on the wall.

WOOHOO! This post put me over the top! I'm not "senior" anymore, thank goodness... (I'm only fifty-ahem) So glad to be "Super" now.

NJ Quilter 11-22-2011 08:22 PM

Are you kidding???? I'd kill for that much space!!! Our house (at least the front half) is over 150 yrs. old. We have a total of 1500 sq. ft. I have an 8' x 10' room that is my sewing space as well as guest room! In there I have a futon, dressing table, chest of drawers, cutting table, (small) sewing machine table as well as basket, bins and 2 other sewing machines and assorted other things! Oh, for space! My dream.

jackied 11-22-2011 08:30 PM

Very nice! Like that you have your machine in front of a window. I do too, and like it. Noticed your jean pockets on the wall as places to put things, good idea.

Cheshirecatquilter 11-22-2011 09:04 PM

I really like the way you have all your rulers and flat tools arranged on the wall -- easy to see and access.

EmbQuilt 11-22-2011 09:12 PM

Fantastic use of space!! I know who to call on if I need a ruler!!

Lol Maryann. I am still a junior. Maybe I shouldn't post anymore so that I don't age into senior? ;>

quilt queen 2 11-22-2011 09:34 PM

Love the little spaces My room is very small but I sew at a window and I am happy there . When I sew or do big quilts I move to the living room and bring in a big table that I can drop my machine into, Your area is so bright and cheerful anyone would love to sew there so neat and tidy. Thanks for sharing I enjoyed the tour !

amma 11-22-2011 10:14 PM

Great areas

Just Me... 11-23-2011 04:36 AM

That yellow is so cheery! No wonder you hide out in there!

ratz29 11-23-2011 05:40 AM

I think I'd like my space divided up like yours. Then I could get away from my mess. I noticed your frame. Do you use the quilt carrage? If so, how do you like it? I was looking at them and wondered if they workled good. I can't aford to pay a LA. I also perfer to do my own quilting so I can say i did it all.

catladyquilts 11-23-2011 05:53 AM

there is some beautiful furniture in your wonderful sewing spaces
