I hear you about your arms aching...but your quilt is going to be exquisite!!

SueDor 04-07-2014 01:44 AM

It will be great when its done. Do a little at time and you won't get tired of it.

twinkie 04-07-2014 01:56 AM

That quilting is awesome. Don't quit now

BETTY62 04-07-2014 02:33 AM

That's going to be beautiful.

I think you are doing a great job. I love the quilting design you picked. It will be gorgeous when you finish.

dove 04-07-2014 02:46 AM

I feel for you...I can imagine how difficult it is....I do have to say that it IS going to look fantastic when it's done...I can see that already....you have great vision...

gabeway 04-07-2014 04:33 AM

That is some amazing work!

joyful1 04-07-2014 04:40 AM

You were right, echoing the stripes was the right way to go! Really love this look. Way to hang in there with only the outside blocks to go. Can't wait to see this when you have it done.

ghquilter53 04-07-2014 05:28 AM

OMG I feel your pain. It will so awesome when you are done though. I am trying to think of an easier way...sorry....

juliea9967 04-07-2014 05:31 AM

Oh! Keep up the good work. It is going to be beautiful and well worth your time and effort. Remember, you eat the elephant one bite at a time and you don't have to eat the whole thing in one day.

You are doing a fantastic job, keep going! All your hard work is paying off as it is really fantastic looking!

rebeljane 04-07-2014 05:53 AM

Awesome quilting, it's going to be a beautiful quilt

Jingle 04-07-2014 07:22 AM

Absolutely beautiful. Your pulling and tugging will certainly be worth the end results.

wolph33 04-07-2014 07:42 AM

wow it is looking great

fireworkslover 04-07-2014 07:52 AM

Don't give up! It looks like you have only 2 more blocks in the center that are the most difficult to quilt. Then the rest are on the edges. Make sure you have good support (lots of table area) for the quilt to the left and behind your machine. That should help out with taxing your arms.

cowgirlquilter 04-07-2014 08:10 AM

That is absolutely amazing.......the quilting really brings out the designs in then go fabric. It is wonderful!!!!!!

Karen G 04-07-2014 08:29 AM

Are you using a walking foot?

roserips 04-07-2014 08:32 AM

I love your quilting and know what it takes physically to do that but it really will be worth it. Hang in there and just pace your self.

Pennyhal 04-07-2014 10:10 AM

Who says you have to finish by a certain time? There's no reason why you can't set it aside and take a break. I'm all for enjoying what you do. I think the finished quilt will be fantastic and hope you finish it so we can see it, but it isn't a horse race! Maybe just doing a block or two when you are in the mood rather than working so hard on it that it tires you out would be better.

Auntie Em 04-07-2014 10:29 AM

What is done is AWESOME!!! It does look like it would take a long time....but it is so beautiful!!!

Vera39760 04-07-2014 10:38 AM

It will be gorgeous when you finish. You are doing a great job.

Friday1961 04-07-2014 11:18 AM

What ambition! This is going to gorgeous when done, though! The quilting is fantastic!

Rhonda Lee 04-07-2014 11:27 AM

Please don't give up. What you have done is so good. I know sometimes with a quilt it just about knocks you out. I've been working on Orca Bay that I started 3 years ago. But look how far you've come. Maybe just work an hour and then stop and come back later...30 minutes maybe... or 15 minutes. You'll still get it done and it will be fantastic!

LavenderBlue 04-07-2014 11:35 AM

Beautiful and looks so professional! Keep going. ;-D

Baloonatic 04-07-2014 11:44 AM

That looks simply fabulous!! I envy your patience... Just think how TONED your arms will be when you're finished!! LOL

colleen1978 04-07-2014 11:53 AM

It will be gorgeous when finished...might have been a good one to use a quilt as you go technique.

laurafet 04-07-2014 12:44 PM

Oh, but it is looking sooooo good already! Keep going!!

javin22 04-07-2014 01:06 PM

Oh my Gosh!! that looks like a ton of work. Wow! Great Job.

Anne_G 04-07-2014 05:23 PM

Bet you never thought you'd get a workout while quilting...keep it up, because that is definitely a quilt that needs to be finished! I love how modern and subtle it is, and you're right, the echo quilting helps keep that feeling. It's beautiful! Great job!

sewbizgirl 04-07-2014 08:41 PM

You've started some very ambitious quilting... but awesome! Maybe set yourself a goal of one block per week, get it out at the start of the week and get that one block done. Then put it away til the next week. That way you will get it finished. It's going to be amazing so pace yourself and get it done.

key4unc 04-08-2014 02:04 AM

That is gorgeous! I love what you're doing withe the quilting. Maybe you could just do one or two blocks a day

triplerosa 04-08-2014 02:31 AM

don't give up you have you so much time into it a very interesting quilt

oldquilter 04-08-2014 03:01 AM

Lots of work, for sure, but going tibe beautiful!

callen 04-08-2014 03:40 AM

I know just how tedious, not to mention tiring, this rechnique is, but your quilt is awesome & will be so worth the effort !! Keep up the fabulous work.

Nanny's dollface 04-08-2014 04:03 AM

Keep working on it while working on another project. Allow yourself 1 hour or set a goal say 2 sections of a block a day. I have been working on a quilt and didn't know why my back and arms ached. Then I realized it was the pulling and tugging of the quilt as I stitched straight lines in the sashing squares. So now I give myself a goal instead of spending 6 hours on tugging and shoving. Your quilt will be stunning when done.

corklass44 04-08-2014 05:56 AM

Please keep going. It will be fab!

tlpa 04-08-2014 08:32 AM

Keep going!! The quilting is perfect, so in keeping with the quilt. Just a little at a time, in between other projects and you will be done in not time.

maryellen2u 04-08-2014 12:01 PM

Gosh that is gorgeous! Keep going girl! Take plenty of breaks but know you are going to have a winner when you are done!

michelleoc 04-08-2014 12:04 PM

Hang in there, it's going to be stunning!
