Great quilt - love the use of both fabrics.

I had a room that came out too purple once. I watered down white paint and did a wash over it. I really liked the way it turned out. I did try it out first by painting a poster board with the purple and when it dried, doing the wash on it. It took several tries before I had the right mix of paint and water that I wanted.

Made me laugh as I recalled a time we purchased some orange paint thinking we could add white and made a coral color, we had an orange bedroom for years. I decorated by making black with coral curtains. Glad there are others like me.

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone - I have thought about doing a color wash over the walls once I'm good and tired of too much pink...it may not be long. lol But I'll try to enjoy it while it's here. :)
