My mom's favorite quilt design was the double wedding ring. My personal favorite is the star with the embroidered umbrellas.

GrannieAnnie 05-09-2013 08:59 PM

OMG! You've won a lottery!

MamaInRed 05-09-2013 11:12 PM

They are all so beautiful. The Double Wedding ring is my favorite.
Looks like she liked to piece more than quilt.

nanacc 05-09-2013 11:21 PM

You certainly inherited some real treasures! Sounds like these are only part of the goodies. Congrats!

helenquilt 05-10-2013 04:23 AM

You are so lucky, nothing I like better than finishing up old quilt tops. Of course sometimes it could get overwhelming. Have fun

Wow! That's a lot to inherit! You're a lucky woman. My fav is the purple one, second from last. Is it hand stitched?

I have put them all into zip lock bags, and one day I will go through them and see what there really is. I just put together what I thought "went" together!!!!

All I gotta say is go forth girl and see what you can find and put together as a memorial to this lady . >WOW>. Lovely pieces for sure !

bibi 05-10-2013 04:48 AM

pegquilter8 05-10-2013 06:06 AM

You are very lucky indeed. I love the carpenter star one the best. Most of my quilting sisters will tell you it is because I generally like anything circular. They are really beautiful.

Wanabee Quiltin 05-10-2013 06:16 AM

Love your vintage quilt tops. I buy them all the time and right now have about one dozen to fix. Went to a yard sale two weeks ago and bought two of them at $6.00 each and one was a Drunkard's Path. You have some beautiful quilt tops here, don't let them just sit in a drawer somewhere please.

kittiebug 05-10-2013 06:34 AM

WOW, You go girl..

mjmachin 05-10-2013 06:56 AM

I love the ladies embroidered one.

Rose Bagwell 05-10-2013 08:04 AM

Wow what a treasure, very beautiful tops .

Chis2 05-10-2013 08:08 AM

Beautiful tops. I love the double wedding ring. Just think all those little pieces hand stitched together. It is a shame she never saw it finished. Good for you for taking it to finish it. Please let us see them when you finish them.

malega 05-10-2013 08:26 AM

I like them all, please show us when it is flinched.
