I laughed out loud at your story....the quilt turned out better than I would have done! I am sure she will love it.

Challenge well met! Many quilters would have become a quivering mess with this combination, I am awed by your genius:)

You may call me "crazy" but I love it. Love the pattern. Good job.

Just as laurafet says, as I was reading through, I certainly wasn't expecting such a great quilt. It's not exactly the ugliest quilt I have ever seen by all means. May I ask the name of the pattern? You chose just the right pattern and layout for those prints. Unbelievable and beauty to boot. Thanks for sharing.

It's not terrible... it has kind of a gentle rhythm and flow to it, if you can get beyond looking at the individual fabrics and take the quilt as a whole. Once it's quilted it will be nice.

tenngal 10-26-2012 12:21 PM

Oh, I've seen one a whole lot worse than that !

JBeamer 10-26-2012 07:30 PM

I think you did a great job. They all seem to flow together. Don't think it's ugly at all. I sure would like to see a quilt you made and that you think is beautiful; it really would be fantastic I'll bet.
