i think you picked the perfect pattern for all of the crazy patterns...it looks wonderful....give yourself a pat on the back...you earned it!

Like the pattern but I agree with you, the fabrics TOGETHER are butt ugly. You sure did a good job though considering you had to work with a "sow's ear" !!! You are one dedicated friend to take on that challenge.

Your story made me belly laugh! Then I read it aloud to my husband, and we had another laugh. I've learned a lesson from you. I will always insist upon fabric approval if I'm making a quilt for someone else. It would not be fun to work on a project that made my eyes hurt.

I think it's lovely, not my fabric choices either but you did a wonderful job. Just think of it as to what beauty you can create from not so nice fabric. It dances.

now see how good you are . Making some livable out of all that fabric . and you do not have to live with it

I just bet it looks better up close where the green and red dots haven't melded.

Callk me weird, but I LIKE it. lol

I think you did a great job, I know if i don't like the fabrics I have a had time completing the project so you get kudos!!!
|
You made a silk purse out of a sows ear. Good job! No matter what, you made something nice out of nothing.

My DMIL's favorite saying when she didn't know what to say was, "It's interesting." I thought it was a compliment the first few times she said it!! But your work is very talented.
