Irish Chain
I have not posted in awhile but I just finished my first Irish Chain. Sorry the pic is a little blurry.
I am waiting on a couple of stencils I ordered before I start to hand quilt I made it for my king size bed but I think I might give it to my sister when it is finished. She just went thru a devestating divorce after 27 years of marriage. I hope to maybe cheer her up alittle. |

What a wonderful thought. I didn't even think of him never sleeping under it. ** Thank you all for your kind words |
Beautiful quilt!!!
|
I love the colors. It is like a controlled scrappy
|
IMHO, rather than a divorce quilt, an I love you sis quilt would be nicer to remember. Mentioning the D when giving the quilt would just make it a reminder of a very sad time in her life. The quilt is fabulous and filled with the love you show in the post. Hope there is healing in time.
peace |

Irish Chain...
Beautiful! The I. Chain is on my bucket list of quilts to be made. It is "down there," tho, as this is the year to finish all of the UFO's, per request of my DH.
Coming along, tho! Mariah |
That is beautiful. I know your sister will absolutely love it. I made myself an irish chain quilt too
with roses in the blank square. I ended up giving it to my sister too. |
Me, too!! Beautiful and wonderful colors!
