i made this lap for my mom's cousin, a life long quilter who is now in a nursing home. she and her mother made quilts all their lives. i often joke that i waited til all my relatives who were quilters, were gone to decide that i want to be a quilter, too. then i had to pay someone to teach me. LOL (i took lessons at a local quilt shop)

well let me try to post that pic again. (i should pay someone to teach me the computer)

Your Irish Chain is beautiful. I love the colors and the quilting. Your paper pieced star is fabulous!! You should be doing it in the star block swap!!!
