I helped pin it today. My sister made this for her husband for his birthday. It's 108 by 108 with a lovely wolf panel in the middle. I do not know how many pieces the whole thing has, but she told me of the tiny blue squares there are 570. I do not know what she has named it. She sure is excited to get near the end. This will be tied and it should go fairly quickly.

Great quilt. Your sister did a great job selecting colors to complement the wolf panel. I made several pillows from the companion to the panel for a charitable group I sew for. I thought the colors and detail in the fabric was very nice. I know her husband will love his new quilt.

Thanks so much for all the terrific compliments. Sue always does a beautiful job on her projects. To answer a couple of the questions, she will probably put many of the ties in the middle of the little blue squares. The batting is one that can be quilted 10 inches apart, so that is good for her as she does not have to do has many. She told me the pattern name is Log Jam. I saw a picture online of one called Horse Log Jam as the person put a horse panel on theirs.
