Items for Baby

The following photos are things I've been making for my husband's niece...she is due in May.
I started with a personalized flannel baby quilt...and the list goes on! The "Choo-Choo" quilt is for my niece's step-son. In my opinion no older child should be ignored during the process of welcoming a new addition. The train fabric came in one of those 'pay for the yardage and take what you get' - I never cared for the color combinations, but for a little boy I think they will work and not show drips and drabs! The car seat cover (black with stained glass crosses) is also the ultimate "keep your germs to yourself" cover! The last three photos are of a "All-in-One Changing Pad"--folded, partially folded, totally unfolded. When did receiving blankets get so big? I still have to finish one quilt, a baby sling and personalize some onesy, then I think I am done for now! |
Great work!!!!!!!!

Great baby projects! The older boy will love his blanket. Really nice job on the folding diaper pad.

All are very nice and will be much appreciated. Good job thinking of big brother also!

Great ideas. Do you have a pattern or numerous patterns? I have a granddaughter coming in April. You just gave me some ideas.

All the patterns are freebies I found on the internet. Seems like if a person knows the question...that Google has many sources with answers!
Here is a photo of the completed quilt. Also - embellished onesy...my husband gifted me with a Cricut this year. Thought I might need a new hobby! And...the baby sling that has cowboy flannel on one side and khaki fabric on the other. Looks kind of weird just hanging there. So easy to make and everyone seems to like and use them. |
The baby's mom is going to love you. Beautiful useful things for baby and brother. Sue

Nice work, you should be proud!

Thanks! I hope she, at least, finds them useful.
