That's cool. I wouldn't turn one down if my DS were to make it for me. (He's in advanced woodshop, and has to make a project for someone in the family.)

For those who might be interested in one made today (not antique) try Googling (images) "step stool ironing boards". There are loads of them there.

I have one that was made around 1990 really neat, it was payment for helping a friend bind her quilts, think I got a bargin LOL
