What a great idea! Love your wall quilt, too.

I'll be glad to take that off your hands!

That is a neat find. I would love to have a ironing board that converts to a step ladder.

donaheater 02-11-2011 05:28 AM

Do you use it for a ironing board or just for displaying you quilts?

Great find, lovely quilt.

That is adorable! Glad you rescued it from the barn rafters.

a friend of mine took an old ironing board and covered it with an old tablecloth and used it for her plants in front of a window, I thought that was a cool idea for recycling and it looked fantastic.

I have one, not nearly as old and sturdy as yours-think it was made for a tourist industry. I love it. Use the ironing board all the time for quilting because it is smaller and easier to put up and down than my big one.(Not that it is down very much. Great find.

I have one sitting in my kitchen, of course it is
one of the newer ones. You have an original.
WOW!! What a find.
