I was looking closely at the border, too. It does look like a yarn fringe. :D Cute quilt. I understand about sharing here - my family/friends don't "get it" either.

You did a great job on your first quilt, I really like the little ruffle around it, the fabric just fit the quiilt. Keep on sewing !
