WOW!!! What a beauty she is!
Beautiful machine! I can't remember seeing another one like it.
I hate to say it ladies, but I put her back in the closet with a tablecloth over the cabinet. I don't want my mom knowing I was pulling out the sewing machine instead of doing chores. And the fact that there will be a lot of dust in my room and she seems safer back there where nothing will accidentally hit her. But I think I'll name her Pearl after my grandma. She'll just have to sit tight a little bit longer!

Wow! Beautiful:)

U are so lucky it is so neat - 0

Nice find!!!
It is pretty! Lucky you!
wow what a find and its looks to be in great shape, you will love using it just knowing your grandma used to sew on it.
What a beaut!
Lucky you, it's in beautiful condition
What a beautiful machine. I have a portable Dressmaker
machine bought in 1970. I wonder if it is the same machine. This one is a basic but has made lots of slipcovers and clothing. My daughter has it now. Still works like a charm. It is a heavy machine. Not one to carry around unless you have a strong arm. Yes it is in a carrying case. |
Looks like a treasure to me. Lucky you.
What a beauty! Get her oiled and greased and hopefully you are set to go! Deb
Lucky find Sew very happy for you. What a treasure you have.

Glad that she made it out of the attic. She is way too pretty to spend any more time there alone.
Take her home and love her. Grandma tucked her away for you to find.
very pretty! Awesome machine
What a pretty little machine!
Beautiful, take it home and try it out:)
I would just bet that she sews!!!!!!! I have my mother's White. It was bought in 1958, I found the sales ticket. In fact I get better results with FMQ with her than my "fancy" machines.
I'm so happy that you found her. She was just waiting for you, cause she needed someone to cherish her!
Wow! What a find!!
Be aware that summer heat in an attic can destroy inner parts of a sewing machine, so if it doesn't work, well,
that is the way it goes sometimes.... |
I plan on pulling her out this afternoon so wish me luck!!
How beautiful! I have started to collect vintage machines-----and will keep an eye out for one like yours....love the face plate!
Looks brand new... Have fun with it..
What a pretty one!
Wow what a treasure. Thanks for letting us drool over her. LOL. Pretty...pretty.
How wonderful. Aren't you glad that someone who didn't know didn't put her in a yard sale?
Good for you.
Wow. I bought one just like that at a yard sale last month for 25.00 and it is in a cabinet just like yours too, but, I don't have an instruction book. I have plenty of attachments but no instruction book. I named mine Marlena for the friend I bought it from.
Nice machine!
Its beautiful LUCY YOU!!
