This is the last of summer purchases... and they were from ebay. I paid a good price for them, and they were worth it. I've never felt such high quality fabric. And the colors... well..see for yourself... :D
Won't this make a grand Irish Chain or "Sunny Day?" :D And for the next floral log cabin.... I'm not sure what pattern is best for this one... it's too big to cut into 1.5" strips...don't worry, I'll think of something. And even though my 19 and 22 year old aren't married, and won't be for at least two years, this one MUST be made into something for a grand child. This was the only disappointment... it was advertised as black and white, but yet again, it's black and cream. But, I have so many black and creams now--I'll make something with them all. I love the design. It was a very happy package. :D |
I DO like them all, but especially the 2nd one! I actually made an apron out of the 2nd one a coupla years ago -- I had an orange/yellow plaid that was the 2nd color (for pockets and lining). It's was gorgeous! Too bad I gave it away!

Beautiful Fabrics!!! I am especially fond of Floral fabrics!! I like to use some in almost every quilt I make!
Your bears are the cutest and I agree, they will be fantastic in a grandbaby quilt!! |
Wow they are all so pretty and bright which I love.
|
All beautiful fabrics. It's such a good feeling to find fabrics you just really feel a connection with. :)
|
Wow that first one looks like you could just pick the flowers---it is awesome. All of them are really beautiful for that matter.
|
Great fabrics!!! I know you are jazzed! Congrats.

Sharon |
I don't blame you! They are gorgeous!!!

I really like the first floral one. It looks like something by South Sea Imports or Wilmington... who is it made by?
|
I love florals, too. The teddy brears are very cute. I'll be intereted to see what you end up doing with them.
|

Terri-pass me that bib!! |

I love those florals! I know you'll find some fabulous way to use them!
|
I'm in my classroom--I'll get those names to you when I get home.
The seller sent a refund for the black and cream! I never expected that--and feel kind of bad she did it. I told her how much I loved them all--and that even if it was cream, I'd find a use for it. |
Okay--I'm home...
I highly recommend getting these fabrcis from She's an awesome seller. And I'm sure she has more of each of these. The "Peach Pink Floral Garden Mix" is a South Sea Imports piece. The "Wildflower Orange Purple Blue" is by Marcus Brothers The "Dahlias Sunset Yellow Orange" is by Timeless Treasures. |

Like the green in your fabric might be the point of the K then each of the colored flowers would be another focus point in the K. I haven't made one of these but have signed up to take a class next month. Your fabric just looks perfect (to me) for the K. blocks. |
They are all lovely, but the piece with the dahlias is breathtaking!!! I agree, it would make a fantastic OBW.
|
Glorious! Makes me happy just looking at the florals. I already have plans for your teddy bears-
