Went to post office today and they were closed!

Mine is off! I did a simple label with just the basics. These Japanese gals are the bomb. I think most read English, so your label will be cherished. If we get labels in Japanese, youme will translate for us and she'll translate ours to Japanese if needed. She's one smart cookie! I feel so inadequate knowing only one language. Does Pig Latin count? LOL!

Hooray for the Japan Twist! So fun trading with our Japanese quilting sisters! I can't wait to see their creations! You gals made some beautiful quilts to swap. I am so proud! I know they will be well received. Let the fun begin!

DANG I keep forgetting to put on labels. I will put one on this quilt before I send it. I saw my envelope in Panda's pic. HEHEHE. I am so excited!!!

I finished mine last night... bang on midnight! LOL

The colours are much better in real life, of course. I have GOT to get a handle on that one day.

For the label I just put my name, the town we live in, and New Zealand.

I'm really pleased with it, it's come together really really well.

Here's mine. It's a mini OBW made with a blue floral that Rhonda sent me - I must be honest and say I wasn't keen on the fabric at first but now it's had the OBW treatment, I'm really pleased with it! :D I appliquéd some of the leftover kaleidos on the back for a bit of extra interest. I was going to machine FMQ it but wasn't that confident of my abilities so ended up hand quilting a meander. Hope you and the Japanese ladies like it! :D

Well, I would offer to do a tute for the mini OBWs but I was worried as it's not my technique, mostly from the book with a couple of my own twists added - copyright and all that. Maybe I should have a word with Patrice.

My quilt is in the mail today, so should be there in 4-10 days apparently. 4 days if it goes direct, 10 if they send it via the north pole I think! ;-) The chocolate and magazine is for Panda, not the quilt ladies ;-) For all your hard work organising this.

Well I MEANT to post mine yesterday - took it out with me, had to buy an envelope but then forgot to take Panda's address with me! Duh! So I'll go up this morning and do it. Sorry Panda!
