Japanese Ladies
 

I wanted to incorporate the Japanese panels of the ladies into a quilt so this is what I came up with. It's my own design; offset the panels and then used the free garden path quilt block I got from McCall's quilting on each side. I did make the blocks 10" vs. 14" that the McCall's instructions finished at. The whole quilt finished at about 63" x 73". This quilt will be given to a friend who has been to Japan many times and taught English there.

I bought some ladies very similar to that in squares just like that a while back. I am going to see if the gal I bought from has more so I can make something along these lines. This is very pretty.

Your quilt is gorgeous, I have that pattern printed out as well and some oriental fabrics set aside. They do make the perfect combination.
