Jelly roll quilt

1 Attachment(s)
This is my latest finish, used just one jelly roll, finished size is 52x 72 inches. Fabric from French Courtyard line. For quilting I did straight lines following the pattern. I like the way it came out and only wish that I had enough fabric to make a larger quilt. For some reason I like making bed size quilts, maybe because I do not know what to do with quilt size like this one.
Thank you

Love this one.

I like that. It's a good size for a lap quilt.

I like that pattern, it reminds me of tents at Scout camp. It would be great for a scout.

A pretty "snuggle quilt"....perfect for curling up under and reading a good book or watching tv.

JuneBillie 06-21-2017 12:29 PM

It's very pretty, and I would cuddle up on the couch or in a comfy chair with it.

Great colors. The palette is soothing.

Jingle 06-21-2017 03:38 PM

This is definitely on of the prettiest Jelly Roll Quilts I have seen.

cashs_mom 06-21-2017 05:48 PM

I really like that! Sit down on the couch and snuggle under it! I love that size quilts

Faintly Artistic 06-21-2017 06:23 PM

Lovely lap quilt/throw. Would be pretty on the back of sofa or at the foot of the bed.

D.Henson 06-21-2017 06:42 PM

Very nice quilt! Most all of my quilts are lap size. Haven't tackled bed size yet! Someday!!!!

quiltingshorttimer 06-21-2017 08:26 PM

Love your quilt, fabrics and pattern!

ellifour 06-21-2017 09:04 PM

Love your fabrics, restful and calm and the quilting enhances the triangles. I am attracted to this quilt, its on my bucket list. Need to finish the four on the cutting table first then will look for the pattern.

grammysharon 06-21-2017 09:05 PM

I love the jellyroll fabric you had. Turned out beautifully.

Geri B 06-22-2017 02:25 AM

Great looking! Pattern source? I have a "few" JRs that need to be made into something.....

osewme 06-22-2017 02:37 AM

That quilt is beautiful. Since you don't know what to do with that quilt...do you need my address? :D Could you share the pattern with us? I would love to make one like that.

Moonglow 06-22-2017 03:13 AM

What a beautiful result. Love it.

soozieQ 06-22-2017 03:16 AM

Its very pretty, we like this size for couch time. I have a picture of three of us on Mother's Day cuddled under quilts, it was cold .

Jane Quilter 06-22-2017 03:21 AM

mtkoldra 06-22-2017 03:43 AM

I found the pattern and the method here.

tucsonquilter 06-22-2017 05:05 AM

Really like these colors. Great looking quilt. Thanks for sharing the pattern

Ariannaquilts 06-22-2017 05:21 AM

Isn't this the same pattern that Angela Walters did on the Midnight Quilt Show? I really like your quilt as well as I liked hers.

twinkie 06-22-2017 05:43 AM

It took me a while to figure this pattern out but it is so neat the way you do it.

ArtsyOne 06-22-2017 07:22 AM

It's lovely! Great fabric combination - I would never have guessed that it takes just one jelly roll. Thanks for the link to the pattern - it'll go on my to-do list.

RedGarnet222 06-22-2017 07:35 AM

Great colors! I reminds me (in coloring) of the old woolen blankets we used to have. They were a off white with these colors stripes at the top and bottom.

Thanks for providing the link to the pattern for the jelly rolls. They are hard to use up.

QUILTNMO 06-22-2017 10:57 AM

very pretty quilt!!

Vasilisa 06-22-2017 12:35 PM

Great colour choice. I love it how it is both refreshing and warm at the same time.

Kris P 06-23-2017 03:38 AM

I like your quilt. It reminds me of camping. I love making throw sized quilts. We only have 4 beds in the house, but love having a throw sized quilt on every chair and sofa in the house. I also prefer to give throw sized quilts.

trolleystation 06-23-2017 03:48 AM

Wonderful use of jelly rolls.

Homespun 06-23-2017 05:21 AM

That is nice!

redquilter 06-23-2017 06:18 AM

Very pretty. I like bed size quilts also but something this size is just right for covering up and snuggling while on the sofa watching TV or in an easy chair reading, or napping!

DJ 06-23-2017 06:22 AM

Wonderful quilt. I really like the way you quilted it, too. I'm getting to really like straight line quilting!

annette1952 06-23-2017 06:52 AM

So pretty. I really like the jelly roll you used also.

salederer 06-23-2017 07:16 AM

That is lovely. In my book it's a perfect lap quilt. My family are all long legged.

I agree to that being the prettiest jelly roll quilt, I am NOT a fan of the regular jelly roll race.
