Bea utiful! I made a tote bag using that pattern in the first layout. I thought it was going to be hard, but it was not too bad! Yours is gorgeous.

Yes, I used a one sided iron-on interfacing the lightest one I could find.

Either or both are working into great quilts, but I like the first one and I just may put that pattern on my to-do list.

Both layouts are great. I'm leaning more toward the second one since it's made from ties the columns could be thought of as neckties and the hourglass could be bow ties. Just my thoughts.
