Loving it!!! The first 10 or so quilts I made were log cabin, I actually learned to quilt using that pattern, Love it with a small red border then a larger blue one, IMHO. Gooooood job!!!!

I sure will show the quilting Chele. I am going to put the outlines of (what else) log cabins. They are a lot of fun, mytwopals. But I still had to concentrate. Put a couple of strips in the wrong place and had to take them off again. I chose blue because it is our favorite color, AND I have so many small pieces that I wanted to use up. I had a BAD habit of buying quarters all the time. No more. From now on, It's yards. I might not have so much variety, but I will have enough if I feel like starting a larger project. What color do you plan to use, or do you know yet? DH is going to be over the moon when he see his quilt. Like you I love blues & have that BAD habit of buying FQ's instead of buying metres of fabric. I'll have to follow in your footsteps & start buying in metres :P . I think your quilt would look great with a thin red border & then a wider blue border. Ooh yes don't forget to post pics of the hand quilting. I've still not mastered machine yet alone hand I just SITD - I know I am a chicken  Tisha |
