John's Quilt
4 Attachment(s)
Hi y'all. I thought I'd share what happened when I started playing with leftover charm squares. I gifted this to our friend John who goes to the same church as we do and who also plays bass in one of the worship teams. John is on dialysis twice a week and tells me it's always cold in the room so I made him a quilt. He loves it and says it's been a great way to share the love of Jesus with the other patients. His favorite color is red and I just happened to have a red piece of flannel in my stash that was EXACTLY the size I needed! I used the scripture verse John 3:16 underneath the cross. Thanks for looking.

That was sweet of you to make it for him. I hope he is doing better and stays warm.

How kind of you. My Mom was on dialysis for 16 yrs. She started making quilts for the other patients but then my Dad started and it has continuued now for the 5 years since she died. You know there are so many people that have to endure things everyday and when someone recognizes and acts it just makes the world a nicer place to live. Thank you and what a neat way to share the cross.
