Josephines garden

We learnt how to make this block in one of our classes. It lends itself to using scrappy fabrics or using a layer cake with some extra fabrics. Most of mine is from a French General Layer Cake called Josephine hence the name-there are a few other French General fabrics used as well.10 inch squares work out well when cutting out but using up any scraps would also work. I got so hooked making a few blocks could not stop and just had to finish-now making a second one-a secondary pattern of pinwheel blocks also evolves.
Hope you enjoy
KIWIAUSSIE JEN
