How much fun are those! Both are really sweet. I especially like the hand quilting on your minis-just perfectly balanced.

You could also do a Google search for "miniature quilt patterns". 2. Not that I know of, other than make sure your seam allowances are accurate if you reduce using a photocopier. Sometimes, depending on the quilt, I'll use a 1/8" seam instead of a 1/4" seam allowance, or often times I'll trim the seam allowance to 1/8" after sewing. I also usually paper-piece minis, since it's very accurate. |
sentimental stitches.net was a great source for "midget blocks" not sure if they are still available...they had some very old 4.5" blocks/patterns for free some time ago...

lots of great photos here:http://www.quiltingboard.com/groups/...group-g14.html
also, at the top of the homepage here there is a box you can click for doll quilts that appears sometimes... |
Thanks so much for the tips.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I do use my copier to resize some blocks -- I am (still) working on a Dear Jane quilt that I have resized to 5 inches finished. It may never get done but it is a fun thing to do when I get quilters block. The original was just too small. Right now, I am making the March mini swap - "rain" theme.

Lovely quilts. I like small projects too but my stash prefers big projects. ;)
