Julian's Dream
 

As some of you might know my DS and DDIL were expecting triplets in 2012. Sadly on December 12th 2012 Julian passed away in the 21st week of the pregnancy.

I had a very hard time dealing with the loss of Julian. Because of all the health problems with the twins who were born 14 weeks early on January 20st 2013 there was hardly time to grieve. This year I made a wallhanging to honor Julian's short life and to finally deal with the loss. Only my two closest friends knew I was making this wallhanging and were there for me every step of the way.

So here it is: Julian's Dream.

Anael your tribute to Julian is so heartfelt and honors his short life, and watching by the sidelines as your family struggled when the other two were born was both heartbreaking and uplifting. We cheered on every little milestone and held our breath a couple of times when things weren't going so well.

When our great grandson died from SIDS our granddaughter asked if she could wrap him in his "kitty quilt" that I had made for him and leave it in his casket. I said that would be fine and he lies wrapped in that quilt for eternity. Made her feel a lot better (and me too!).
