Meet " Aunt Sam" She's decked out for Summer and has the fireworks ready to go! Her apple pies are renowned and she makes mean hot dog. I just recived mine on my birthday no less. I love her Up North

RUTH!!! She arrived today, along with her "goodies"!!! She's beautiful!!! Her name is "Strawberry Shortcake" and she came bearing M&M chocolates and a beautiful batik fat quarter in my favorite color!!! She has the wildest hair (sorta like Lucy from I Love Lucy!! Really Red!!) Ruth said that summer reminds her of bugs, flowers and strawberries!!

I just got home from my sisters. My flight was delayed and a little dolly was waiting for me from Linda R. I'm sorry I can't post a picture, I'm having problems with my phone and PC so have to use my daughters laptop. I don't have a digital camera, I usually scan hem, LOL! Anyway she looks like the other one from Linda R with her teeny bikini, but with yellow flowers and different face. she's adorable! She came with wildflowers and a cute card. Thanks! If I can get my pc to behave I will post a photo.

Happy that you like her! I have been collecting buttons for over 50 years. My Grandmother started my collection of buttons when I was little and I've added to it over the years. Recently my MIL gave me a big can of buttons.

:lol: :lol: :lol: It's a lap quilt that I"m working on! I had just finished that square and since there is no furniture in my den yet, I laid it on the shampooer box to take the picture.It will be stripped with 8 in strips. I wanted to get all the goodies in the picture, so couldn't hang it up .
