Great quilt! Love the beach theme and that sand fabric is perfect!

I have to share with a giggle, my sand fabric is actually a recycled sheet. The pattern on the sheet is of randomly placed large wavey leaves. I can't think of the name of it, but one sees it often in decorating and I think it is supposed to be good luck.
The color was perfect and I just knew when I cut it into the strips it would look like sand. It was indeed perfect in this quilt!

I wanted something pretty, but fairly straight forward - as i expect they will use it on the beach. Your idea is GREAT !!....and I hope you will be flattered when i say that i plan to steal it !!
