Awesome mini quilt. I bet she loved it & all of you made her feel good knowing where her stash was going. I hope another quilter that loves to quilt like I do gets my stash. My kids are so busy all the time that they don't have time to have a sale but they can donate it to anyone they feel would love to have it. I plan to use most of it before I leave this world but you just never know! lol

annette1952...it does make us think doesn't it as where's the fabric to go...my friend is a widow and has no children...this was a wonderful solution to destashing and basically was done in a day. Her very close friends had it all organized for her. She invited us for a light lunch as well and was a wonderful time sitting around her table. Yes her beloved fabric purchases went to people she knew.

Very nice of you and very nice quilt. But that center is the Golden Mean, not Fibonacci's Sequence. The Fibonacci's Sequence shows the relationship of different size blocks to each other. And the first piece is a square. The second is a square the same size. The third is a square as big as the sum of the height of the other two together. Eh, What? ? ? You have to be there. LOL

I stand corrected!:D I bow to the wisdom of a one room school teacher because I was a one room school student! And I am not a math teacher either, but understand the difference. I have been playing with both the Golden Mean and the F. Sequence in my quilting designs. Some of us are a little nerdy:D
